Karla McCleary

RDH, BS, CSDH, PHDHP

Karla earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with an emphasis in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1999. She is a licensed Dental Hygienist and a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner with over 22 years of experience working as both a certified school dental hygienist and a clinical dental hygienist.  Her strong foundation in both clinical practice and public health has shaped her holistic and education-focused approach to care.

In 2020, Karla began studying Orofacial Myology and is currently pursuing certification through the International Association of Orofacial Myology. In addition to her work in orofacial myofunctional therapy, Karla has a strong interest in primitive reflex integration. She has completed Level 1 and Level 2 training with Rhythmic Movement Training International, which further enhances her ability to support neuromuscular development and improve functional outcomes in her clients.

Karla is passionate about early intervention and educating families on achieving optimal health through myofunctional therapy. She helps children and adults correct oral dysfunctions with personalized programs, bringing a warm, patient, and encouraging approach to every session. Her mission is to empower families with the tools for lifelong wellness starting with healthy oral function.
