1. Who we are
OMT of York provides in-person orofacial myofunctional therapy and related educational information for families and referring providers across York and Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Site helps visitors learn about therapy topics, find office locations, request evaluations, and refer patients. We are a clinical practice website — not a marketplace, social network, or telehealth diagnosis platform.
2. Educational information — not medical advice
Content on the Site — including Learning Center guides, glossary definitions, symptom pathway suggestions, FAQs, results stories, and blog-style articles — is provided for general education. It does not create a therapist–patient relationship, and it is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for professional evaluation. Individual results vary. Always seek personalized guidance from a qualified clinician for concerns about breathing, sleep, speech, oral habits, tongue ties, or related issues.
Interactive tools (for example, the symptom pathway or knowledge checks) suggest educational reading paths only. Submitting results to our team requests a conversation — it does not enroll you in care or guarantee availability, outcomes, or insurance coverage.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use Site features that submit information to us. Parents and guardians may submit inquiries on behalf of a minor. The Site does not require a public user account; form submissions are one-way messages to our practice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to harass patients, staff, or visitors;
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information;
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive rates, reverse engineer, or compromise Site security;

5. Appointments, evaluations, and clinical care
Requesting an evaluation online is an invitation to communicate — not a confirmed booking until our team reaches out and schedules with you. Care is delivered in person at our offices unless we expressly arrange otherwise. Clinical policies (fees, cancellations, attendance, collaboration with referring providers, and records) are communicated during intake and may be updated from time to time. Website marketing statements about “no referral required” describe how to start an inquiry; they do not override clinical judgment about appropriateness of care.
6. Provider referrals
Referring clinicians may use the referral form to share patient contact details and observed signs. You represent that you have appropriate authority and patient awareness (or a clinically appropriate reason to request outreach) when submitting a referral. We may contact the patient/guardian using the information you provide and may update you on progress consistent with applicable privacy rules and patient preferences.
7. SMS, phone, and email communications
If you provide a phone number and consent on a Site form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, voicemail, and text message about your inquiry, scheduling, reminders, and related care coordination. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts; reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Email communications may be used for the same coordination purposes when you provide an email address. Standard carrier and email provider terms apply.
8. Intellectual property
Site design, logos, photography, copy, and educational materials are owned by Oral Myofunctional Therapy of York or used under license. You may view and share links for personal, non-commercial education. You may not copy substantial portions for commercial training products, scrape the Learning Center for competing datasets, or remove attribution from materials we publish. Patient result photos are shared with consent for educational purposes and may not be reused without written permission.

We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their terms, privacy practices, or availability. Product purchases, if offered, occur on third-party checkout pages; we do not process raw card data on this Site.

12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY PENNSYLVANIA AND APPLICABLE LAW, Oral Myofunctional Therapy of York AND ITS OWNERS, THERAPISTS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON EDUCATIONAL CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SITE (AS DISTINCT FROM CLINICAL CARE, WHICH IS GOVERNED BY SEPARATE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND AGREEMENTS) WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR SITE-RELATED TRANSACTIONS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
